Summary

It's a tradition that has remained in the hands of the family for generations. Willett Distillery is one of the most recognized brands for bourbon enthusiasts and has accumulated a cult status. Even Kulsveen has seen the struggles and highs of his industry but had foresight to buy aged whiskey stocks when they were plentiful which put the spotlight on this brands. Dipping back into the great barrels coming out during the early 2000s, how does this new stuff rank? We talked about the 80s and 90s, but Willett becomes really popular in the late 2000s. So everyone kind of remembers that pappy heist, right? Well, some more news broke out, and that happened about a week and a half ago, but it didn't really make headlines.

So Gilbert Toby Kurtzinger stole almost $100,000 worth of bourbon.

He was sentenced to 15 years in prison and is now being granted a shock probation after only serving 30 days.

So either the judge maybe got a bottle out of it or there's just crowded jails.

But that's actually pretty crazy.

Apparently they couldn't pin the papi on them, but only the stolen barrels of wild turkey.
