Today's guest is Sal Masakala.

Sal is, I'm sure, a name that you know and somebody who you've almost undoubtedly seen.

He is a professional broadcaster, television host, musician.

He's a television producer.

He came from the Surf Skate Snow World, but did a brief detour into mainstream entertainment

with gigs on MTV and E-Television.

He's currently a correspondent for Vice Sports, and he's the voice of the Red Bull Signature

series.

We get into all those details briefly in this episode, but we really kind of

focus more on Sal's origin story, the decisions that he made to get him those positions and to

basically just do what he does. And his origin story is honestly just a one-of-a-kind story in the

surf industry. And there were details of it that I was aware of, but also a lot of a kind story in the surf industry.
