Summary
As part of our longstanding and undying commitment to organizational transparency, please join me for a spontaneous Q&A about Mormon Stories Podcast, the Open Stories Foundation, the THRIVE Foundation, and any other topic you want us to discuss!Β Please post your questions in the comments below!!!
This video was made primarily as a response to what we believe was an unprofessional and unbalanced inquiry into the THRIVE Foundation by Peggy Fletcher Stack and Tony Semerad of the Salt Lake Tribune.
This is my second attempt at a response.Β My first response was a little angrier than I wanted it to be (I'm calling that the "caffeinated version"), and so I am rerecording to invoke my wiser self ("decaffeinated version").Β The substance will remain the same, although the slides are slightly improved.

| 0:26.3 | Basically, to explain what I mean by decaffeinated, I did this almost identical presentation yesterday, |
| 0:34.1 | but I was a little bit more spirited and I'll even say angry than I wanted to be. |
| 0:41.5 | And I don't necessarily apologize for anger, and I actually have an explanation for why |
| 0:48.4 | I was angry. |
| 0:50.0 | I'm going to go ahead and save that explanation to the end. |
| 0:54.3 | But suffice it to say, I want to practice and model mental health and positive emotion, |
| 1:02.0 | regulation, etc. |
| 1:03.8 | So I'm happy to redo the episode. |

| 1:14.7 | from the Salih Tribune reached out to me with some questions that felt really suspicious |
| 1:20.4 | to me and problematic. |
| 1:22.8 | And I'm going to go into later why I was suspicious and why I found the questions to be problematic. |
| 1:29.3 | But most importantly, we at the Obestories Foundation and with Mormon Stories, I believe |
| 1:34.9 | have a long history from the very beginning of really valuing financial transparency and |
| 1:40.6 | just overall organizational transparency. |
