There are electronic surveillance techniques available to overhear things that are happening

there and see what communications were made just preceding the attack.

The FBI can go out and investigate crimes against American citizens wherever they happen.

Hi everybody, it's franceyhakes, former state and federal prosecutor Jim, sadly. We are remote once

again. Yes, but I am sitting high atop New York City's Times Square, taking in the lights

and the sights and the sounds of the city. And you are at XG studios, right? I am. I'm at XG studios

and I have to say some of our listeners, or maybe just one, has written in and said,

francey please tell Jim we miss him. Well at least one person cares about me, francey.

I'm going to stick to the story Jim that it was only one. Okay well we're here unfortunately to

talk about a worst case scenario. So I wanted to tell our listeners what we're going to be speaking

about today. Yeah Jim unfortunately this is one of those cases that when it happens you and I both

just feel compelled to talk about it and what I want to do is break it down from a law enforcement

perspective to the extent that we can. And that is this terrible story of a large extended

Mormon family down in Mexico who were, I mean there's really not another word for it but mass

occurred earlier this week in Mexico. Jim the facts are just so awful you had three SUVs full of

an extended family, several mothers and a bunch of children and they were on their way apparently

to a wedding. Now they and their community of Mormons have lived south of the US border in

Mexico not very far just 70 or 80 miles south of the US border for gosh I think it's a hundred years

now or so and they're dual citizens so they are Americans and they're down there in this situation

where there's a lot of cartel activity and drug activity and some of those Mormon family members
