Good morning. It is time for the morning mindset. This is a Ministry of LiveBuild Change.com aimed at helping you a Christ follower get your mind oriented right alongside the truth of God so that you can look at this day and enter into it.

First of all, with your mind filled with truth rather than the lies that come

at us day after day in the world we live in.

And also so that you can enter into that day with confidence because you're trusting in

the truth that you're believing.

Today's morning mindset is a continuation of a concept I introduced yesterday, a concept of

praying the scriptures and the ability that gives you to be confident that God is going to answer those

prayers and therefore you can by faith enter into situations that come up in your

day with absolute confidence that God is answering what you've asked him for.

Let me give you another example today from Psalm 119.

Now Psalm 118 is full of these kinds of verses. You can scan through it and find verses like this

that are amazingly powerful prayers that we can pray for ourselves. This is Psalm 119 verse 18 and it says open my eyes that I may behold

Wondrous things out of your law now that's a prayer that's very powerful to pray right before you start to read

God's word for the day. I mean think about that. You're asking God to open your

eyes. The eyes of your mind, the eyes of your heart, open your

eyes that you may behold the wondrous things from God's law. So in other words,

God enable me to see, to grasp, to understand the wondrous things that you

teach in your word.

Are you like me where you've had those seasons and maybe they've been prolonged

seasons where you open God's word, you know you need it, and you open it and you read it,

and it just not

not coming alive to you. You don't get anything out of it.
