Good morning my live bill change family this is Carrie Green and I am here on the

morning mindset every morning so that you can be equipped, given some resources to help you get

your mind focused on the truth of God. And the truth of God we're talking

about is coming directly from the scriptures.

And so today I wanted to make a few comments based on the book of Psalms chapter 5.

Comments that come from things that David wrote here.

A song, so to speak, that he wrote, that it seems like the people of Israel sang in their worship.

And from this passage I want to draw out some things that I have found are very encouraging

things to pray.

And they're not only encouraging, they're actually very effective to pray, because they are things

that are perfectly aligned with God's will. And the reason we know they're perfectly aligned with

God's will is because they come from his word.

So let's take an example here.

This is from Psalm chapter 5.

Verse number 7.

It says, I through the abundance of your steadfast love will enter your house.

I will bow down toward your holy temple in the fear of you.

Now here's verse 8. Lead me, oh Lord Lord in your righteousness because of my enemies make your way

straight before me did you hear some requests in there that David made.

In verse 8, he says, lead me,

O Lord, in your righteousness.

He says, make your way straight before me. Those are examples of the kinds of things we can pray with
