Good morning, live-building change, community, friends, family, brothers and

sisters in Christ. I am Carrie Green and we are here on the morning

mindset every morning to open the scriptures to help you get your

mind oriented around the truth of God for the day so that you can live that day in great, great faith and in power that God provides for you.

The last few episodes I have been walking you through some examples of how to use various

scriptures as a basis for your prayers,

and how those prayers, prayed in faith,

can actually enable you to live confidently in that day

because you know God is going to answer that prayer.

And the point of all this is that God loves to answer prayers that are exactly

aligned with his will. And as we read

scripture we find verses throughout that are examples of how someone else

prayed, someone else asked God for some certain thing and because it's the inspired word of God

we can understand that that way of asking is something that God approves of

and so we can excitedly realize this is a prayer I can pray.

And as it comes genuinely from my heart, it is a prayer I can count on God to answer and therefore I can act with absolute certainty in light of that prayer that God is going to answer it.

So today I want to give you one more example.

This is from Psalm chapter 119.

This is verse 133. The writer says, keep steady my steps

according to your promise and let no iniquity get Dominion over me. So think about that one.

Keep steady my steps according to your promise. So he's saying God has promised

to keep the steps of his people steady.
