Summary

Welcome back to the Healing Her podcast! Today, I am thrilled to be joined by Mary Jelkovsky of Mary’s Cup of Tea! Mary’s mission is to empower others to love themselves unconditionally and through her books, podcast and self-love retreats, she has created a community of women who are ready to love themselves exactly as they are! Over the years, Mary has struggled with the feeling of “I am not enough” - which included an eight-year battle with an eating disorder - but on her road to recovery, she has learned to take up space in this world unapologetically. In this episode, we are talking about the type of grief that comes when you grieve dreams that are unrealized or when you grieve a past that is different from what you thought it was going to be. I feel like many of us are struggling with this right now and that’s why we’ll be discussing moments in our past that we find ourselves grieving now, the anxiety of losing something or someone that you love, and living in survival mode. Besides this, Mary will share some tangible tools she’s used to help her build a life that she’s excited to participate in as well as allowing herself to be celebrated. Keep listening to learn more! Find Mary’s books and podcast on her website here: https://maryscupoftea.com/ Find Mary on Instagram here: https://www.instagram.com/maryscupofteaa/ The Healing Her podcast will dish out practical tools, a touch of humor, and a whole lot of heart to help you uncover your way back to yourself and your peace. We will dive deep into the world of healing in a way that’s as relatable as chatting with your best friend. I’m Ashley LeMieux, a grief expert whose personal journey and masters degree in health and wellness has provided a whole new view on the world. Let’s break down the walls that are keeping us from finding the peace and transformation that we all deserve.
