Elon Musk at a protest in London at the weekend. The Unite the Kingdom rally was organised by

the far-right activist Tommy Robinson and was attended by more than 100,000 people.

In her first Commons appearance since being made Home Secretary in the Ministerial reshuffle,

Shabana Mahmoud said many demonstrators had been exercising their ancient right to protest peacefully,

but not everyone was peaceful.

26 officers were injured and 24 protesters were arrested. Those violent thugs will face the full

force of the law. But those who turn to violence on Saturday do not represent who this country
