This is our first virtual episode.

Emily and I are practicing self-quarantine in our homes, as you guys probably are as well.

So you're getting us today on a call that we're doing from each of our homes, and we're going to see how this goes.

Yeah.

Yeah, well, I mean, we're still, I feel like this whole year has been kind of a year of learning sound and we're trying to use those headphone mics. Just when we had it. Yeah, headphone mics. And now we are doing a Zoom call and hoping this works out. Yes. So welcome to episode, what are we at? Episode like 147? 148.

Somewhere around there. I can't remember. Well, you know what's really funny? I thought of this earlier.

So when we first started food and session, we tested out our mics at my house that one time.

And the room I'm actually in today. I never, this is a spare bedroom. We don't use it for much. And I'm using it for my home office now. And I was like, oh gosh, this is where we tested the mics for the first time, which was a spectacular fail, didn't work at all because my plan was, oh, we'll just plug them in and press record and see what happens. And that doesn't work. I remember that. Lesson number one came early in food recession.

And then here we are in the same room, which are in here.

Hopefully these mics, this situation is better.

Yeah.

Our testing has gotten better.

Dude, I mean, you think, you know, four years we should be pros, but just kidding.

Yeah, so guys, so just to give you a little bit of premise on how this is happening,

so we're doing a Zoom call together.

We're going to try to, Mindy's going to try to flip this audio on to be a regular podcast.

And if not, our default is to just air this video, or maybe both. I don't know. I'm literally talking this out as I'm recording this. So Mindy's in her home. So she's going to sound probably a little bit closer. And I'm going to sound like a call-in because that's potentially what I'm doing on the sound. So I have earbuds in right now. So if our sound is a little inconsistent, please show a little grace for us
