Good morning my friends it is time for the morning mindset edition of the

Live Build Change Podcast. This is a daily episode of the podcast that is aimed at helping you get your mind right for the day because that is vital for us as believers in Christ to be able to live our day with our minds said on what is true because we live in a world

that is throwing falsehood at us at an alarming rate.

It's getting greater and greater all the time.

The world is bent contrary to God's ways.

And our goal with this morning mindset is to give you one more tool in your toolbox that can help

you start out the day, this day, today, with truth in

your mind so that you can live according to what is true, not as according to what is false. We're going to do that today by looking at Psalm Chapter 1.

Psalm chapter 1 is an amazingly encouraging chapter to me because it talks about the characteristics of those who are

righteous, those who God deems righteous. And you may look at yourself initially and say,

oh, I don't think that means me because I don't really feel righteous

and I know that I send yesterday by doing X, Y, Z.

And so it must not be talking to me.

But let me point out something to you

that you may not know from scripture.

God does not say that our actions define who we are.

So in other words, our actions do not determine our identity.

And that's essentially what you're saying when you say, I did this yesterday, and it wasn't a righteous

deed and therefore I am not righteous.

That's how our world thinks.

But that's not how God thinks. God says you are identified by your

birth. Birth determines identity. So to be an unrighteous person all you have to do is be born
