and who have to convince their husbands that this is the right thing to do.

I have been inundated with this question in one form or another over the years and I finally

am going to address it.

I'm going to read two emails in total here.

I'm going to start with this one from Josie, who writes,

Hi, Suzanne.

I'm currently eight weeks into my 12-week maternity leave. And every time, she's,

this is not her first baby, I don't think. I've cried postpartum because I don't want to leave my baby.

My husband always knew that I wanted to be a stay-at-home mom, but because my income has given us a great

financial cushion, he won't let go of it easily.

I'm even contemplating working a.m. to 10 a.m. shift so I can be home with my baby during daylight hours.
