It's very windy here in the UK and every time I go out of the door, I get a free blow dry off my hair. It's that time of year, isn't it? Where the storms hit the United Kingdom as we're making this live.

We've got three amazing topics today around counselling and psychotherapy, the study thereof and the practice thereof.

And we're going to be starting with our first topic which is making an ethical referral.

Bud and you spoke about something that I think is so, so important and I know we talked together

and we've experienced this firsthand and it's what a tutor can learn from their students.

Yeah, it's really interesting.

Someone once said to me that you can only really learn your craft if you actually teach it to others.

And I tend to agree with that.

And Kelly outlines what learning tutors gain from their students.

And sometimes I think that students think it's just a one-way street.

That, you know, tutor tells and informs the learners and that, hopefully is true.

But also, there is another side to it.

Tutors do actually learn from their students.
