| 0:25.0 | First and foremost, it's unique because it was recorded three years ago. |

| 0:31.0 | The reason why I never published it was because it's an interview of a good friend named Heather, |
| 0:38.0 | who talks about her decision to join the church as a convert in Texas. |
| 0:44.0 | And ends up going to BYU, marries in the temple to the son of a state president. |
| 0:51.0 | But then later, her husband leaves the church, and she ends up eventually leaving it to. |
| 0:58.0 | Now, why didn't I publish it? I didn't publish it for a couple of reasons. |
| 1:01.0 | First, I didn't publish it because I felt like it was really edgy kind of out there. |
| 1:07.0 | And I didn't want to turn people off and I didn't want to cause trouble. |
| 1:10.0 | And in 2007, I was going through my own crises about my relationship with the church |
| 1:16.0 | and what Mormon Stories Podcasts was about to be. |
| 1:18.0 | And eventually, I guess I just got cold feet. |
| 1:21.0 | Didn't publish it and ended up shutting down Mormon Stories for a long time. |
| 1:26.0 | But I'd still think it's an important interview, mostly because I think Heather is a fantastic spokesman. |
| 1:31.0 | She doesn't speak from a place of anger. She doesn't speak from a place of rage. |
| 1:36.0 | She just speaks from the heart about what she loved about Mormonism and why she felt like she had to leave it |
| 1:42.0 | and how that's impacted her life. |
| 1:44.0 | But most importantly, she talks about things, mistakes that we can make when our loved ones leave the church. |
