In part three we began to see the early stages of Shirley Turner's mind beginning to spin, how she maneuvered the system, despite

being under indictment for murder, she was released on bail, and how the public welfare system is doing anything and everything to make sure

Shirley is well taken care of.

As the justice system drags its feet, getting her extradited back to the United States

to face the charge that she murdered Andrew Bagby.

We left off with Shirley Free and pregnant.

While Shirley was on bail, she was making a good time of it. She was maintaining an active social life.

She's regularly out to dinner, taking in movies, shopping with her son.

She was staying with him for a short period of time at his apartment

from November of 2001 when she first fled to Canada

until January of 2002. It was over Christmas time that

her relationship with her son started to sour and it didn't take long. She sold his computer that he and some of his friends had custom built for $900.

He was still attending university and of course he needed his computer.
