Summary

In today's episode we go over carbs and fats and their roles in your diet. Which nutrient will help you succeed and which will hold you back.
Facts:
As long as you do not overindulge, there is nothing inherently harmful about carbohydrates.
Eating less carbohydrate (especially processed carbs) can be helpful if it helps you eat healthier. But if cutting carbs makes you eat worse or feel worse, or you if can’t stick with the diet, you should consider other options.
Low-fat diets are not inherently unhealthy, shunning all fat from your diet can be dangerous, since your body needs to consume at least some omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids.
A diet low in fat (14–19% of calories) might reduce total testosterone levels by 10–15% in otherwise healthy men.

KG in the house. Did we do a good job at making you think we were sped up? If you're listening to us on two times, Sadda is going to be brutal. It's going to be like, you know? I wonder how many people just checked their phone and was like, what the heck is happening? Like, am I listening to this on two times? So there's all different kinds of people, but when it comes to audiobooks, there's people

that are like, I need to listen to it at normal speed or I won't get anything. And there's people that are like, I want to speed it, you know, two times, one and a half, and just get the info. And I never thought I'd be one of those people, but I started at one, then I did 1.25, then I did 1.5, then et cetera. and it really depends on the person though I found like there's some people like good luck listening to grant cardone on two times speed. Yeah. You'll lose your mind. But if someone's talking pretty normally, uh, you can definitely do it. I'm sure someone listens to me on two times. I won't be offended. If you do DM me, I'm curious. But we've always, I mean, I think we've gone feedback even on YouTube that we talk a little bit too fast.

And sometimes even myself, I know Josh can be pretty guilty of this. Oh, yeah. Which isn't a bad thing, but sometimes I try to even slow it down a little bit. Because, I mean, what's the rush? We're here to have fun. and sometimes I feel like I can retain a little bit more knowledge when it's a little bit slower,

but everyone's different as well.

1:13.2

It depends on what type of person you are. to have fun and sometimes I feel like I can retain a little bit more knowledge when it's a little bit

slower but everyone's different as well depends on what type of person you are the problem is I just

1:15.6

get so excited I get motivated and hungry but on the positive I had one client saying to me hey like have

1:21.4

you and Kyle being like trying to talk slower because it's being a lot slower on the podcast I'm like

1:25.6

no but I appreciate it like that's a good thing.

1:27.8

It means we're being more, you know,

1:29.2

intentional and more organized and relaxed. I think when we were new is a little bit more scary and we just want to get everything out as fast as we can. Like when Kyle's trying to memorize something for a video and say it, like he just goes and you're like, whoa, like, hold the phone. and nobody's going to be able to listen to that or pay attention.

1:44.8

Whereas me most generally, I do struggle

1:46.5

because once again, I just talk, whoa, like, hold the phone. Nobody's going to be able to listen to that or pay attention.

1:44.8

Whereas me, most generally, I do struggle because once again, I just talk, talk, even one

1:48.7

personal training client, he asked me something. I'm like, this, this, this, this, this. And he's like, whoa, slow it down a little bit, you know, like, I'm a passionate talker that way. I mean, hey, it kind of works over podcasting because I get excited to say a lot, but I do need to be aware to slow down.

Anyways, I don't know why we're going on.

So rumor has it.

If you have carbs and fat in your diet, you automatically get fat. Well, everyone knows fat makes you fat, Kyle. Yeah, and carbs after 6 p.m. will automatically store fat. So basically we can't have any of them or else we get fat. I really hope no one stopped the podcast there and actually thought we said that because those are just silly things you'll hear.
