| 0:00.0 | Hey everybody and welcome back to I Just Want to talk about the Bible. |
| 0:09.3 | If this is your first time joining us today, then let me just welcome you and say that I am so glad that you're here. |
| 0:15.1 | My name is Christian Keeter and I live in the southeast of the United States of America with my amazing, beautiful, godly |
| 0:21.3 | wife, Lacey, and our two wonderful daughters, Felicity and Serenity. |
| 0:26.4 | All right, today we are going to be taking a pause from our journey through Galatians |
| 0:30.5 | because I want to share something else with you guys that I've been thinking about recently. |
| 0:35.0 | But before we get into what specifically that is, let's just read through a passage |
| 0:39.1 | in 1 Samuel 25 that is going to propel us into our conversation for today. So let's just |
| 0:44.4 | hit the ground running today. So just a little bit of context very quickly. This takes place during |

| 1:29.2 | had the chance to assassinate Saul, but he didn't take that opportunity. He just cut off the corner |
| 1:34.0 | of Saul's robe. And then after Saul left the cave, he showed it to Saul saying, look, I could have |
| 1:40.2 | killed you, but I didn't. I'm not going to lift my hand against the Lord's anointed. |
| 1:53.8 | So David was waiting on God and on God's time to remove Saul and to put David himself on the throne. |
| 1:58.2 | David wasn't going to seek to take matters into his own hands to expedite that process. |
| 2:00.7 | So that's in 1st Samuel 24. And what we're going to look at today is going to be |
