Real estate rock stars. This podcast is amazing. We are talking to Robin Cavalero. She started real estate at the age of 56, six years ago, and is now the number one agent in her MLS. This woman is more up on technology than most 20-year-olds I know.

Just incredible, great energy.

0:23.6

And here's her story.

0:44.5

So Robin serves a very unique market, the villages.

0:49.6

And if you don't know anything about them, it's really important as we hear her story that you understand that.

0:51.3

So tell us what exactly are the villages.

0:55.7

So the village is not everything that you've heard about all of the rumors. It's an amazing place to live for any age because anyone can own a home here, but it's

1:04.2

active adult. It used to be over 55, but now people come here, play sports. They're out walking, biking. It is truly a

1:14.8

paradise. I mean, it's a full city. How many people live in the villages? So right now,

1:20.0

there are about 150,000 people that live here. And I would say 65% are full-time, 35 are probably snowbirds.

1:30.9

They come back and forth, but we do have a large rental community here, meaning we have a lot of Airbnbs.

1:38.8

We have a lot of people that just rent their homes because this community is so diverse. Anyone can live here.

1:46.4

You can own, we have manufactured homes for $150,000. And then we have several million

1:53.0

homes. So anyone can live here and they enjoy the same amenities in a manufactured home as they

2:00.0

do a multi-million dollar home. That's what makes

2:02.1

it very unique. And you can't have kids, though. You can't have, you know, school-aged children

2:08.1

to live in the villages. What are the rules? That's correct. You cannot have children 19 or

2:12.4

younger living with you full-time. They can visit. But uniquely enough, the developer, property of the villages,

2:18.4

has built a family community. It's right here. It's called Middleton, and anyone can live in

2:26.1

Middleton. So they're really progressive and they try to keep, you know, everyone, I would say included,

2:33.0

but they're looking to, you know, satisfy a space in the

2:37.9

market that's needed. When Robin and I were talking as we were, you know, prepping for this interview,
