Welcome to the Mary's Cup of Tea podcast. I'm your host, Mary Jilkovsky. I'm an author,

0:07.7

speaker, and all-around self-love advocate. And this is the podcast that will inspire you to love

0:14.6

yourself.

0:18.5

Hey, self-lovers. First of all, sorry for the generic, weird podcast episode title. I truly was

0:27.8

struggling with, like, what to name this episode because it's kind of esoteric and weird, and I

0:35.3

didn't know what would just capture all of it. So I greatly appreciate

0:40.0

you clicking on this and trusting me. And with that being said, I also want to warn you that

0:47.7

I haven't fully developed this idea yet. And I'm kind of flushing it out as I speak because I generally think as I'm talking

0:56.9

and this is just something that has been keeping me up at night. I haven't been sleeping really

1:12.9

and in talking with friends and just observing people in the state of the world and all of that

1:26.1

have something to add or some thoughts of your own, feel free to hop on

1:30.2

over to at Mary's podcast and send me a DM over there on Instagram because I would love to hear

1:36.8

what you think and if this resonated with you or if you think maybe we're on the right track here, but I'm missing like a big key,

1:47.6

the big piece of the puzzle, please let me know. So like I said, I've been thinking about a lot

1:54.3

and I've noticed that so many people, myself included, are struggling a lot. And some of the struggles are big and

2:09.1

definitely warranted and always all the struggles are so, so valid. But I'll speak for myself here.

2:17.2

What I've noticed in myself, which

2:18.7

really annoys me, is that sometimes I'm struggling about things that just, like, aren't worth

2:28.0

even thinking so much about. It's almost like my brain is making up problems that aren't there, and it's
