It's unbelievable how we've all just continued.

And we get up every day and we live our lives.

And yet we went through this deeply traumatic and unprecedented experience.

And I don't think we talk about it, like the toll it took on our

feelings, on our thoughts, on the structure of our lives, on our relationships. And at least for me,

writing the shift during the pandemic was my way of feeling like I had some control over how I felt, as opposed to just being a

victim to this thing that happened to all of us. And so I'm really excited to share with others

how I was able to shift my perspective to take what was a very grim and challenging time and transform it, at least for myself,

into something I could view through the lens of love, of hope, of gratitude and joy.
