Hey everyone, welcome to the podcast this week.

I am recording this on the day after Halloween, so I hope you guys had a fun

Halloween weekend and that your rooms are full of stashed candy that your mom can't find

to either eat or throw away. My kids have this problem of eating candy and leaving the wrappers and the sucker sticks everywhere.

And I think every Halloween, I just get so fed up and I finally just take all of their candy away.

All right.

I'm such a mean mom.

But I do think that if you are not responsible enough to throw your candy wrappers in the garbage, then you don't deserve the

Halloween candy.

Okay, so throw your wrappers away.

Okay, there's my little Halloween candy rant, right?

And I'm tired.

Halloween always, like, makes me so tired.

So that probably doesn't help.

Today, let's talk a little bit about how to get along with your parents better. I get this

question a lot. Like, how can I get along better with my parents? So I'm going to help you all

with that question today. And in order to answer this question, I think it is helpful for all

of you to see if we can kind of get inside the brain of a parent for a little bit,

all right?
