I'm Erin Scala and here's our show today. Oh, My dad is an interesting guy. He was a formula race car driver, a medic in the Vietnam War, and a playwright. He rides a Harley and only drinks Grand Manier.

In short, he's an all-around unique guy and he has some pretty incredible stories.

when my grandfather tried making beer for the first and only time.

Well, my father didn't tell me much about prohibition because we lived in

Maine and we came from Detroit and I was born in Detroit and I always wondered why my relatives

would come to see us in Maine but we never went to Detroit. Well I found out later that my father was a bootlegger in Detroit and had run-ins with a purple game.

And apparently we had to get out of town.

So we lived in the sticks of Maine and grew up and I, the purple game never came after us because they kill themselves off.

So I never learned about the purple gang until I went back to Detroit years later, finding our roots, and then I found

But anyway, growing up in the coast of Maine my father brought his boot legging

skills and we made whiskey

We had stills we had one still out in the woods and a quick takedown model on the stove and we be he'd be there
