You know, they say before you're about to die, your life flashes before your eyes, but that wasn't really my experience.

What I saw was more like letting go of things that hadn't happened yet.

And I had this vision of my 10-year-old daughter being all grown up.

And there were a lot of things that sort of happened before.

This is like in an instance, but it seems like it's taking forever.

And I just saw my daughter grown up and dressed in white, walking down the aisle without her dad.

And I just remember, like, it shot up.

And I was like, I'm alive.

I had to do something about it.

So I had reached my hand into the wound in my thigh.

Like, I thought I was going to pinch the artery off like McGuiver.

I'm like, no, I'm good.

I'm going to walk it off.

It's fine.

And it's really not how it went

down. I just pressed and prayed that it would give enough time for the medic to arrive.
