I thought it was important to address recent events.

My workplace has been in the news in the last week or two for many reasons.

And I took it by myself to prepare a written statement that I will just read aloud right now.

Hello, world. First of all, good morning.

I bet you're wondering how I ended up in this situation.

Yep, that's me. Somehow tangentially involved in a trending scandal at my workplace.

It's also crazy. Everything that's been going on.

Global warming. Geopolitics. My boss losing focus.

Firstly, I wanted to say that I'm a guy that works in a company.

A company full of wonderful people that I cherish.

That are creative and lovely. People that I consider co-workers.

I'm not going to speak candidly about the situation because it involves real people and their personal lives.

And while spilling tea can be fun, if you steep tea too long, it starts to taste yucky.

So all I can say is this, I'm psyched to work for the new trifecta of Try Guys.

And I think the company will be much better off for the ways in which we're refocusing on what's important to us.
