He is currently still in Afghanistan so obviously all of the troops have left now all of the Western troops the US has lost the war and the Taliban has taken over Afghanistan

Nijib is there on the ground. He's been with the Taliban traveling to different areas, Kandahar Helmand.

He's going to give us an idea of what Afghanistan looks like now that the Taliban has completely taken over.

The Jib himself is the second generation Afghan

So maybe, maybe just explain what you're doing right now in Afghanistan.

Obviously all the US troops, everybody is left.

Taliban has taken over and you're still there.

What are you reporting on specifically? I'm actually sent by a national Danish broadcaster

who wanted me to cover the transition phase. They wanted me to show which impact it will have on Afghan society

on the individuals that the Taliban is taking over.

What kind of a change is it in people's lives?

And at the same time, they also wanted me to follow up on some Danish projects.

They wanted me to visit some of the, you know, places with

Danish soldiers they fought. They wanted me to visit some people with relations to Denmark, Danish Afghan, you know, Danes of Afghan origin,

some of the people who are stuck here. So it's the threat is, you know, the Danish angle, but but but is also a general story about you know what is happening

in Afghanistan right now it's historical you know it's it's the end of the

longest war in modern time maybe you can correct yeah no it's it's definitely one of the longest

running ones.
