And it's so funny that through that entire event,

I did not want to think about Kobe.

I didn't think about what I was showing him.

I didn't think about what I was modeling.

I just knew what was right.

And I also knew how scary it felt for whatever reason.

I mean, it's almost silly thinking about it now,

but in the moment those feelings were real and big.

And I had to ask myself questions

and I had to process through and I had to remind myself,

I'm safe, I am the adult.

It is my work to do.

I have language that I can have a conversation with.

I can slow moments down.
