If this is your first time joining us today, then let me just welcome you and say that I am so glad that you're here.

0:14.8

My name is Christian Keeter and I live in the southeast of the United States of America with my amazing, beautiful godly wife Lacey

0:21.8

and our two wonderful daughters, Felicity and Serenity. So happy New Year to you, if you happen to be

0:28.8

listening to this right around the time of its original release. You know, New Year's is famously a time

0:35.5

where we set goals that we probably know we're not going to achieve.

0:41.3

The overwhelming majority of New Year's resolutions, of course, end up falling flat in a pretty quick period of time.

0:50.6

However, having said that, this is a time of year where we do a little bit of introspection, where we look at ourselves, where we look over the past year, where we look at just the condition of our life, and we pause and do something that we should probably do a lot more frequently, which is look at ourselves, look at our lives, and look at the trajectory that we're on and ask the question of, is this taking me where I want to go?

1:12.8

Is this trajectory going to take me to destinations that I'd like to arrive at?

1:16.9

Or maybe to ask questions like, what needs to change?

1:20.4

What habits need to change?

1:22.5

What ways of thinking need to change?

1:24.8

What did I do last year that I don't want to do this year? Or what didn't I do

1:30.8

last year that I do want to do this year? And before I lose anybody here who happens to be listening

1:37.6

to this at a later date than, you know, early January when this was originally released,

1:42.7

just hang with me because it is never too late

1:45.6

or too early to start a new habit and to make changes. So this applies no matter what time of

1:51.7

year you're listening. So today what I want to do is suggest to you a habit, a habit that I truly

1:57.5

believe could revolutionize your and my daily lives if we are willing to

2:02.6

adopt it and just make it a part of our daily practice.

2:07.3

So we are pausing the trek through Galatians that we started.

2:13.0

We've paused it for the last episode and for this one, but I do plan for us to return to that.
