My name is Christian Keeter and I live in the southeast of the United States of America with my amazing, beautiful, godly wife Lacey,

It was the night that Jesus was betrayed.

He had already washed his disciples' feet, and they had observed the Passover meal, and he had instituted the Lord's Supper.

Judas was currently on his way either

to sell Jesus out or on his way back with the soldiers at this point. With the other 11 disciples,

Jesus leaves the upper room where they had observed the Passover meal. And now they are on their

way to Gethsemini, which is on the Mount of Olives,

where Jesus is going to pray and where Judas will show up and betray Jesus into the hands

of the leaders and the soldiers there. However, while they were on their way to the garden,

Jesus tells his disciples a parable, a pretty famous parable.

And that parable and some of its implications are going to be the object of our attention today.

And I'll just go ahead and say right at the outset that there's going to be some things that we

discuss, some truths that we look at that if we are willing to begin to implement these things

in our daily lives, if we're

willing to let these things become lenses or filters through which we see our lives, I believe

that we could walk away from this with a lot of encouragement.

So I just want you to think of your life in light of these truths as we discuss them.
