I'm the author of the book Raising Critical Thinkers

of Parents Guide to Growing Wise Kids

in the Digital Age. This book has been in the works for a long time. It took

me a couple of years to do the sort of dedicated research and actual writing of the book, but the truth is I've been thinking about thinking for decades.

And if you could see my library shelves in my own house, my bookshelves. They are littered with books that deal with the big ideas that we all

excavate and explore as we become adults. The more we human, the more we figure out who we are and

what our place in the world is. I am incredibly fascinated by what it takes to

change a mind.

Why our kids, when presented with irreducible facts,

can look as straight in the eye and completely deny that reality

and believe something different. Have you ever watched a movie,

played a game, read a book, and then stunned by the monstrous interpretation your

child gave it or the completely different way they understand

a value set than the one you understand. This book that I've written is going to help you dial into those experiences without panic,

without the feeling that you're raising a monster, without the complete abject concern you feel
