Hello everybody, Chris Gethin here and welcome to another episode of the Knowledge and Mileage

podcast. Now, over the next few episodes, I decided to take a little bit of a meander, a little bit

of a change and bring to you unbelievable success stories from entrepreneurs. These are from people

that I personally know and I've seen their companies firsthand

go from good to great. So how can we learn from these people? How can we apply their knowledge

or their standpoints that we can be inspired by and take maybe a couple of pointers or maybe

all of them to apply to ourselves.

So starting off with this series, I decided to fly out to see my good friend Jack Oax.

Now Jack has the company VPX that some, maybe some of you may not know of,

but I'm pretty sure that all of you have heard of the energy drink bang.

That is like, I believe, the fastest grown energy drink in the US right now.

Now, about 10 years ago, you'll hear that Jack almost sold his company,

decided it was going to go in a different direction, but then he thought, you know what?

No, I'm going to stick it out. There is something in this brand bang that I know will be a huge success and it came to fruition.

So only some years ago, this gentleman was sleeping on an inflatable mattress in an office and now he's bringing in billions at over a

billion now per year with the bang brand and it's a lot of fun so you know his

ambassadors have a lot of fun he brings on a lot of cheerleaders every day at

two o'clock he samples new products and existing. And one thing that I learned is that he

doesn't do anything by eight out of tens. He only puts out something when it is a 10 out of 10.

And this isn't like a founder or CEO that you don't hear about. He is not behind the curtain.

He really puts himself out there and his characteristic and his
