Summary

The GrowHaus is a nonprofit indoor farm, marketplace and educational center in Denver. Their vision is a world where all communities have the means to nourish themselves, and their mission is to create a community-driven, neighborhood-based food system by serving as a hub for food distribution, production, education, and economic opportunity. This month, we wanted to give back to those who need it most during this unprecedented time. Food insecurity in our own neighborhoods is at an all-time high, and we wanted to support how we could! Every purchase of EMPRESS gives back $5 directly to GrowHaus. Purchase April EMPRESS to show your support if able: https://thisisempress.com/products/april Learn more about GrowHaus: https://www.thegrowhaus.org Follow: https://www.instagram.com/thegrowhaus/

important to get more education around for people who, despite all of the stress and anxiety

and fears and what the fuck is happening around us, right? It's, you know,

all the things that I've talked about in my Facebook lives and my Instagrams, the ups and the downs,

my last podcast. We still have to recognize that we are in a situation that we can truly take care of our body. And we do that

not just from a systemic standpoint, right? Like our systems are taken care of because we are taking

care of our cells. And at a cellular level, I'm getting the nutrients I need to have a strong immune system. I know my gut

is tied into that immune system. I know that I have the ability to create space for more

because of it. It is all about education for most of us, if you're listening to this. It's education

2:10.7

on what supplements we need, you know, the zinc, the glutathion, the B vitamins, etc. And it's education on the food

2:21.5

that our cells need, food and water. And that is something we take completely for granted.

2:27.4

It's something I've taken completely for granted and feel somewhat ignorant when it comes

2:31.5

to the word food accessibility and knowing that it's something

2:34.9

that makes me really sad. It's something that makes me feel like I need to do something about it.

2:42.5

I think all of us can relate to that, knowing, okay, we're in a good position. What about people
