It's so easy for us to forget that the children are growing and we're growing too.

We know the children are growing. We're watching it with our own eyes. We take all the pictures.

We sit and look at them later at night and go, my goodness, where did the years go?

But are you remembering that you're also growing too? And that you're a better parent every day

and a more experienced parent every day? Every day you're getting better at this job.

And I wish we would give ourselves more credit for that.
