Welcome to the Game Change Your Life. I'm Dave Anderson. In this episode, I want to talk about

six signs. You are too soft. Too soft. Now, I'm not talking about being sensitive to suffering

or crying at sad movies or being a caring type of person. I mean, those can be very good attributes.

I'm talking about the softness, primarily mentally, primarily mentally, that fits this definition.

It's a pretty extensive definition, right out of the dictionary, and it talks about this,

lacking firmness, lacking strength of character, or resolve, in other words, he gave up a lot,

feeble, lacking robust strength, endurance, or stamina.

And I'll catch this one, especially because living in luxury or living in ease.

That's when people can start to get soft and complacent, when all the seas appear calm,

when there's no visible threat or crisis.

I mean, you don't get soft, slugging it out in the gutter.

You get soft lounging around in the hammock, waiting for everything to go your way.

Now, this is one of those episodes where you have to take a look in the mirror and not just

think about someone else who's soft, the crybaby that

you know or that you work with or that's on the team and just make it all about them.

Let's not that there wouldn't be some value in that and maybe helping them with a message,

but primarily what's the game changer?

Do they look in the mirror and they look for how can I be better

today than I was yesterday? How can I be less soft in these six areas? How can I be less so

in any of these? Hopefully I'm not soft and too many of them today than I was yesterday.
