but whose life and labor is worth remembering.

This is Black History Month, and I thought in this episode I would just pull over and talk a little bit about

some of the black pastors who have gone on before us who in the previous generation have made a great

impact for the gospel this is a biased list there may be some others who would give you different

names and i hope to add to these names in future podcasts.

This is more of a personal list.

but just a listing of some of the faithful men of the last generation

whose ministries are worth knowing and remembering. I get that question often.

Interestingly, I get that question about black pastors, black preachers you should know in both

white settings in which I preach and in black settings in which I preach. It's almost like

the parable of the sheep and the goat when both the sheep and the goat, those on the left and the right, the righteous and the unrighteous, both say to the Lord, when did we ever see you, sick, hungry, thirsty, naked, etc. I'm asked in both settings. It's a statement about the fact that we

live in a cutflower generation where we sometimes forget that important things happen before we

got here and we can get so caught up in the moment that we

failed to take advantage of the examples of those who have come before us and so just allow me
