Summary
In this episode, Dr. Dennis Kimbro kicks off the week with the story of the chicken and the eagle.
Just because you may feel different from the rest does not necessarily mean you have to tailor-fit yourself to be just like everyone else. Just like the eagle, you stand out for a reason. Above all, you’ve got to know who you are and accept what you are. Because if you don’t know who you are, anybody can name you. And if anybody can name you, then you’ll answer and succumb to just about anything.
He further emphasizes the importance of the thoughts you let stay in your head and warns not to cultivate negative thoughts in your mind. Like he says, “We see things not as they are, but as we are.” The greatness you’ll radiate in your life will fundamentally begin from within.
