Welcome back to the quarter of the day show I'm your host Sean cracks in a

Sean Crox and dot com we got Dr. Wayne dire close and out the week and this is

one of my favorite Wayne dire stories of all time is the one about the orange

use some of you have heard it before and not just that but he's also talking

about closing up the wounds from your past a lot of us are living in our past

for bringing our past into our present and into our future as well and how

forgiveness is so huge not only from moving on with your life but for

creating the life that you want we've got Dr. dire coming up but first this

one of the most powerful lessons that you can ever learn I had to learn as a

young man my own father was a man who walked away he left he left home when I

was just a baby left my mother was sitting right here

107 years old is that you know you're not 82 years old though and and with

three little boys and all I had ever heard when he walked out about this

person that my older brothers told me about and that my mother got her family

back together again when I was nine years old and did all that she could to to make

a family again all the hardships this is a man who never made a phone call

we never sent a penny who spent some time in prison who was an alcoholic who

died of cirrhosis of the liver the age of 49 and was buried in a poppers

grave in Balexia, Mississippi and it wasn't until I went to his grave and it was

able to stand there and I used to dream about this man and have this enormous

hatred for this person who might have never seen just based upon what he had
