In it, we will be attempting to answer some of the questions that our listeners have asked after listening to our podcast,

because it is an ongoing story and an ongoing investigation,

into a very complex murder case that took place in my hometown of Corsica, Canada, Texas.

All right, let's get to it.

Okay.

We've received a bunch of questions since our last episode of the season came out.

The first question is, you know, a lot of people were asking about Jerry Mack's other child, the son from his previous relationship.

Mm-hmm.

Why do you think people are so interested in him?

Well, because he was an illegitimate child, because Jerry had fathered this child, but then denied paternity until his feet were held to the fire legally and he had to, uh, he, you know,

things got tested. There, there was, um, proof of paternity and he had to become legally

responsible, uh, and provide child support for this child.

And also it was a big bone of contention at first.

Once he and Shelley had gotten married and then she made the discovery that he had fathered this son, she did not make that discovery because Jerry told her.

Really?

So once she found out she was, of course, very upset that she had not been told.

She also had not been told of his previous marriages.

She did not know that he had actually been married twice before he married her.

Wow.
