Yeah, it's just great to be in the retreat, get out of town. So many good things here. Step 7, which is what I've been asked to do,

is humbly asked him to remove our shortcomings.

After doing my fifth step, I had to return home and find a place where I can be quiet for an hour,

carefully reviewing what I had done during the fifth step, I thank God from the bottom

of my heart, but I know him better.

Taking this book down from the shelf, I turn to the page

which contains the 12 steps. Carefully reading the first five proposals, I ask if I had admitted

anything, for I am building an arch through which I shall walk a free man at last. Is my work solid so far?

Are the stones properly in place?

Have I skimped on the cement, put in the foundation, have I tried to make mortar without sand?
