Wednesday, September 27th. New Jersey Senator Bob Menendez has pleaded not

guilty to federal corruption-related charges.

He's accused of using his powerful position

to help the Egyptian government obtain military aid

and sensitive information, in exchange for payments

and gold bars, hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash and a luxury car.

Do the right thing, resign.

That's what someone yelled out when Menendez and his wife arrived in court this morning,

and more than half of his Democratic colleagues in the Senate

are calling on him to do the same including his fellow New Jersey Senator Corey

Booker. He's already stepped down as chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations

Committee a position with a significant amount of influence over

military and financial aid for other countries.

The U.S. Army private who crossed into North Korea has been returned to the U.S.

That's according to two US officials.

A US official told CNN that King is in good health and good spirits.

Travis King went from south to North Korea during a tour of the Joint Security Area,

inside the demilitarized zone in July.

U.S. military officials say he crossed willfully and without authorization.
