we'll be talking to Corey Olson. He's the host of the popular Tolkien professor

podcast. He's a professor at Washington College where he... of the

most popular Tolkien professor at Washington College where he teaches courses on Chaucer,

courtly love, Arthurian literature, the Bible,

Greco-Roman mythology, and a full semester course on the works of Tolkien.

I'm kind of disappointed that it's Greco-Roman mythology and not Greco-Roman wrestling.

He kind of looks like he could do some wrestling.

Um, boy, I just totally lost my train of thought there.

Um, so you know, I just, I just came across this this podcast randomly and just started listening to it and I really really enjoy it. He's

Cori is just really really enthusiastic when he talks about Tolkien and I'm always just really interested, you know, when people are really enthusiastic that always makes me interested in whatever they're talking about. And so right now he's actually he's teaching his Tolkien

class and he's recording all of his lectures.

So you can listen to his lectures and listen

to the students asking questions.

And I guess he's actually set up a forum on the website where you can actually go and sort of

interact and ask questions along with the students and be involved in the discussion.

I haven't actually checked that out myself, but it certainly sounds interesting.

And so he actually has a lot of ideas about doing outreach between academia and the general public that I think are really cool,
