And welcome to Episode 11 of Geek's Guide to the Galaxy.

Today we'll be talking with Alexander Philippe,

director of the new documentary film The People versus George Lucas, which explores the love-hate relationship that Star Wars fans have for the legendary director.

You know, just this morning, I just on a whim I googled George Lucas in Google Image Search and one of the first images that comes up is this guy who has a tattoo on his shoulder.

It's just giant, it's like fills up his whole shoulder of Darth Vader holding a

lightsaber and also holding George Lucas's decapitated head and it seems like that

really just kind of encapsulates the relationship between Star Wars fans and George

Lucas, you know, like they love him so much that they're, that they have his face tattooed on

their body, but, you know, and this character he created, tattooed on their body, but you know, also expressing just the most, you know, sort of vitriolic outrage at the same time. And it really is, it it's not it's not like a like

dislike relationship it's a true love hate relationship so I think that'll be

really interesting I'm really looking forward to seeing this

documentary. I think it's a really interesting phenomenon and I'm sure he interviewed a lot of really,

really interesting people.
