Today we're talking about an analyst note from Key Bank Capital Markets.

The Tesla stock today closed down 1.78% to $311.64,

this compared to the NasdDAQ up 0.04%.

Supercharger network update, we are currently at 1,119 supercharging locations

with one new station opening up in Spain.

Pretty quiet news today, but something that did get picked up by

C. NBC, Bloomberg, Yahoo, etc.

was an updated analyst note from KeyBank Capital Markets.

KeyBank is an investment bank with about 1,500 employees based in Ohio.

Two of those employees are analysts Brad Ericsson and Elliot Aronson covering Tesla.

In their

updated analysts note today they said that the fair price for Tesla based on their analysis is

$240 to $280 per share. What really drew headlines from their note though

was that they reduced their delivery estimate for Q4 for model 3

from 15,000 units down to 5,000 units. Anybody that listened to the previous

earnings call should know that 15,000 units was way too high of an estimate to have at this point in time and to bring that down to 5,000 units is still way too high of an estimate for anyone that has done any sort of research into what model three deliveries could be.

For starters, Tesla hasn't even registered 5,000 Vins with NHTSA yet.

The highest VIN that we've seen in the wild is 2,891, which establishes a pretty firm ceiling. The justification the analysts are
