Today we have a quick episode talking about some tweets from Elon this afternoon,

as well as Tesla updating their supercharging network plans for 2018.

Tesla stock closed down today 2.43% to $317.29,

this compared to the NASDAQ down 0.34%.

Supercharger network update, we are still at 1,118 supercharging locations.

Most of our news today is coming from Elon on Twitter.

Earlier this afternoon, he tweeted, quote, wanted again to send a note of deep gratitude to Tesla owners worldwide for taking a chance on a new company that all experts said would fail.

So much blood, sweat, and tears from the Tesla team went into creating cars that you truly love. I hope you do. How can we improve further?

End quote. So of course anytime Elon opens up to Twitter for suggestions there is not a

shortage of suggestions. There are already thousands of responses to this tweet of which

Elon chose to respond to a few of those giving us some new information.

Predictably one of the first responses was about autopilot 2 saying quote AP 2 please exclamation point

end quote short and sweet. Elon said quote sorry for the delay we have the most advanced AI

neural net of any consumer product by far so it's going through exhaustive testing.

The results are blowing me away though and I think you will have a similar experience."

So this is not the first time that we've heard Elon say really positive things about the development of the neural network. that's

happening behind the and of autopilot progress that's happening behind the scenes,

but I think we're just not quite seeing that
