The reason that I like them so much is I think when you're trying to explain

to understand the connections. And one of the metaphors that I've been searching for for a long

Magic design is like creating a buffet.

Well, the idea is that magic, as I often say, is not one game.

It has shared rules and shared game components, but there's many, many different

ways to play. You can play limited with sealed or draft, and there's various forms of draft.
