goals to help you figure out what you really want most in life. One of the problems I used

to have with goal setting was that I didn't actually know what I wanted. I mostly set goals

because I thought they were goals I should have been working towards because that's what other

people were doing or it was what

I thought other people would want for me. And I often set goals that didn't really mean that much

to me. They were just easy to achieve and they made me feel good and like I was accomplishing stuff.

It can be a little bit difficult to set goals which are truly powerful and meaningful and move

us closer to what we want in our lives.

But one simple way to do that is to reverse engineer your goals.

So reverse engineering means to break something down in order to analyze how it works.

So you can create it again or make it better.

When we reverse engineer our goals, that's basically what we do.

We look at the big end goal and then break it down into smaller chunks

and really start to understand how we can reach that big goal.

The first step in this process is to spend a little time exploring what you want.
