Today we're talking about something very dear to our heart.

0:17.3

And, you know, we started to film this and we said, no, we need to really figure out how we want to communicate this message.

0:22.2

So I think this will be a podcast that no matter where you are or where you're at or where you want to be, this is something everyone should really listen into because, you know, this might change your whole understanding of how you look at the gym.

And today we're going to talk about why you need to be strong, basically, and how to get stronger. So me and Kyle were discussing, we found that, you know, a lot of the gen population is scared to be strong. Like, do you want to use your gym example? Yeah, so I was training a client. We were doing a bunch of amazing movements yesterday in his condo gym. I believe, you know, we had a lot of dumbbell bench press,

some pull-ups, some lap pull-downs, some push-ups, sorry, so we had a lot of pushing and pulling

and then finished off with some shoulders and arms. But anyways, that's besides the point. He was

But the other thing is I think a lot of people just don't realize the actual importance of strength training.

1:29.5

They just think, oh, I want to lose five or 10 pounds. Let me just do cardio till I'm black and blue.

1:33.7

And this is going to be the best thing. And, you know, it's too bad because I wish I could have made like a big announcement to everyone.

1:38.7

Get off the ellipticals and start strength training. Like I wish I could have told them, but i don't think they would have liked that too much or maybe they would have if they started but anyways so yeah we we try to think what are the

1:49.0

barriers to prevent people from from getting strong you know and i think the first and most obvious

1:54.1

one is people don't know how to get strong or how to start or they're worried about injuring

1:58.7

themselves and these are all great examples so

2:00.9

the easiest way to overcome this in my opinion is hire a personal trainer someone who's there with

2:05.1

you um and i'm not seeing you to personal trainer for life but have someone to help you become

2:08.6

masterful with the movement learn best patterns like posturing and everything like that and now a lot of

you're going to say i don't have money for personal trainer personal trainers are expensive you know
