In today's episode you're going to be guided using a meditation technique to release fear. And this is customized for our theme this week, which is is Every week I issue a challenge. Well, your challenge this week is to do something a little more out of the ordinary than I normally challenge you to do.

And that is to undertake a voluntary hardship as you pursue simplicity. Now that doesn't mean that you have to go out and do something really grueling.

It simply means to stretch yourself a bit and there's one more criteria to do it for the greater good not only to

maybe take on something new for yourself, but have it benefit the world at large.

So many people are doing challenges such as where they're helping to improve the environment, picking up litter or taking shorter showers or doing less driving and more walking.

So you could do a challenge such as this

or a challenge where you are making an effort to be kind and non-judgmental

towards someone who maybe zaps your energy, maybe somebody who's difficult to be around.

So whatever your hardship challenge is, know that by the end of this week, after you focus on it for the full week,

you will feel as though you've really accomplished something, and it's good to do these voluntary hardship

challenges periodically throughout the year.
