Hey everybody and welcome back to I Just Want to talk about the Bible.

My name is Christian Keeter and I live in the southeast of the United States of America with my amazing, beautiful,

godly wife Lacey, and our two wonderful daughters, Felicity and Serenity.

So let's begin today by talking briefly about the Lord's Prayer, specifically actually one

part of the Lord's Prayer. But when I say the Lord's Prayer, what am I referring to? So I'm referring

to that model prayer that Jesus gave us about halfway through the Sermon on the Mount. So the

sermon of the Mount is going to be Matthew chapters 5 through 7. And the Lord's Prayer specifically

is recorded in chapter 6, verses 9 through 13. So now this is a passage of scripture that you may very well have memorized.

You may be unfamiliar with it or you may, you know, pray this very, very frequently.

Now, remember, when I was quite young, my dad taught it to me, and I could recite it from a very young age.

However, that doesn't necessarily mean that in my heart of hearts, I meant all that I said.

I wasn't truly born again until I was 19.

But my point is, I was aware of it.

I knew of it.

I could quote it from a very young age.

But let me just go ahead and read it in its entirety, and then I'll talk about the one

Jesus says, gives us this model prayer. He says, our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name,

your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day,
