show we have Chris Jensen one of our consultants down from Portland.

It's great to have you here, Chris.

You know, I always say I'm really excited about today's show,

which can kind of sound not very sincere,

but I am always really excited because we pick topics that we're excited about I don't want people to think we're just saying that

One day I guess we'll go well today we don't know what we're talking about him

We're kind of board with us but let's do our very best. But today's topic flows from our last podcast.

Right. Last one we talked about was two really dangerous attitudes about work.

Exactly. And on one end of the spectrum we have the people whose whole identity and life and value

is wrapped up in their job.

And that's dangerous.

And on the other side of the continuum you have people who think that work is just corporate

penance that it's punishment it shouldn't be it's supposed to be miserable or it

should be dignifying yeah exactly there's nothing you're not getting

fulfilled out of it it's just something you've got to. To pay the bills and it's part of life, right?

So today what we're going to talk about is how to avoid the second one.

How to avoid the idea that jobs are miserable and unfulfilling.

Because I believe that God intended us to get fulfillment and dignity out of work.
