So anyway, today on Geek's Guide to the Galaxy,

we'll be talking to Tom Rogers, author of insultingly stupid movie physics.

You know, I was just in a bookstore last year in Santa Monica,

and I just randomly came across this book

and I thought it looked cool.

So I picked it up and read it, and I just thought across this book and I thought it looked cool so I picked it up and read it and I just kind of talks about all the most popular movies and what's wrong with the science in them and it has equations and things that you can figure out if you're interested but they're all

safely enclosed in boxes so if you don't care you can just skip right over them

so I read it and I thought it was really good and you know my dad teaches physics at

Stanford so I was curious what he would

think so I showed it to him and he read it and he really liked it he would

actually proposed teaching a class sort of an undergraduate class for non- majors

using that as the textbook.

And I guess they never, that never went anywhere, but it's a good indication of, you know,
